With global mobile data traffic expected to increase at over 100% CAGR through 2014 and with mobile video accounting for over two-thirds of that traffic by 2014 (1), high quality mobile video services will be used as an everyday service by billions of users.
Dialogic's India video design and development center will enhance Dialogic's capabilities in the expanding areas of video content adaptation, video streaming and video analytics that will drive these future services. The video design and development center will be led by Sanjay Singh, a communications industry veteran and previous Managing Director of Dilithium Networks in India.
"We all know mobile broadband networks are continuing their explosive growth with video services being a key part of that growth. Dialogic expects very significant growth in the video streaming and video analytics market, and we intend to continue to supply our customers with great video products to drive even more innovative video services," said Nick Jensen, CEO of Dialogic. "With the opening of the India video design and development center, we are now even better positioned to take advantage of the growth and innovation that continues to thrive in the industry. Additionally, this center significantly increases Dialogic's presence in the Indian market."
